Visited for first time yesterday with a friend from Preston. Lovely coffee, lovely cake, lovely staff. Thoroughly recommended!
Good service and friendly staff, but the food was deep fried! My fish finger sandwich, which should have been stunning on beautiful granary bread has left a nasty greasy residue in my mouth. Grilled is surely the only way to go!
very very slow service - sandwiches took over an hour to come. One was chicken (precooked) and chorizo, another bacon and brie (which wasn't even melted). Wasn't even busy and whilst 2 complimentary drinks were offered, there was no apology. Nothing like the service we've had in the Barnt Green one ...
Didn't even know we were in place, first to order by good 10 minute but food arrived 45 minute later, after later customers served first. Customer service poor. Cold food when reached us on cold plates.No interest in customer complaint.Unfortunate as would like to keep supporting local venture.Very upsetting
Nice place but service (when available!) is so slow. Went inside and asked if necessary to order at counter as sat outside - informed waitress out soon to take order. After 10 minutes went back inside to see if I had mis-heard - no waitress would be with us in a minute - there was only one other occupied table. As I only wanted 2 coffees after a further wait of 5 minutes I gave up and walked.
